Instructions

    • Manually delete the unwanted applications by navigating through the Samsung mobile phone's menus until you find the option to delete applications. Choose the unwanted applications and delete them. In some cases, the carrier will have protected these applications so that the user is unable to delete them.
    • Check the user guide or manual that you received with the phone for information on how to remove the carrier software. If the phone's documentation does not address carrier software removal, call the carrier's customer service group and simply explain that you want to remove this carrier software.
    • "Root" your phone if you are unable to manually remove these carrier applications. Rooting your phone means completely wiping out all of the phone's operating system and replacing it with a generic operating system. This is an extreme measure and has the potential of permanently damaging your phone.
