   Download the Oxford Dictionary of Englis

• Go to the CNET website (see Resource). CNET offers reviews and free downloads of educational software. The Oxford Dictionary of English is a free 10-day trial. Consult the software for the full license pricing.
• Click the "Download Now" link. The Oxford Dictionary of English software is compatible with Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista, according to CNET. Your download should start right after a new window opens.
• Double-click the downloaded file and then click "Run" to initiate the installation. Follow the remaining prompts to complete the installation.
  
  

  Download Multiple Language Dictionaries

  • Go to the FreeLanguage dictionary website (see Resource). The website offers approximately 263 language dictionaries free to download.
  • Click the language that interests you. Scroll through the page and locate a language in the "Language" section. This opens a new window with information about the language.
  • Click the "Download" button to initiate the download. You may need to click the "word list" download link in addition to downloading the dictionary.
  • Double-click each downloaded file to start the installation process. Follow the remaining prompts to complete the installation.

    • Go to the Free Dictionary Project website (see Resource). The website offers several options, including mobile applications, thesaurus and a basic vocabulary tool.
    • Click the link for the dictionary that interests you.
    • Click the "Download" link to initiate the download.
    • Double-click the downloaded file and follow the prompts to install the software.
